Our Art and Design topic in Grade 1 for this half term is Materials. As part of this topic we have been weaving. We started by practising our skills and producing paper weavings. Click here to see our paper weavings and to see how we progressed to the next step.
We are now weaving with yarn. We started by making the warp by winding string onto a piece of card. We are weaving with our choice of colours.
Sometimes it can be frustrating but we don’t give up!
