Grade 1 have been investigating how sounds are made as part of our Science project.
We have learnt how to carefully play lots of different instruments to produce different sounds and tunes.
We described how sound is made by tapping, blowing and shaking instruments and then made our own instruments from old boxes and objects from our home. We created some really interesting sounds with our homemade instruments!
We collected lots of different bits of junk and rubbish and explored the different sounds we can make with them. We put our junk instruments onto a sound board to show how to make sounds in different ways. We really enjoyed using old bits and pieces to make something fun and exciting!
Great instruments Grade 1. We remember bringing in materials and making our own instruments last year. It was fun. You look like you had fun too!
From Grade 2
What a fun science project, J. It sure looks like everyone used their imaginations. We really like the cookie tin drum with chopsticks. Great job, Grade 1!
