{"id":8685,"date":"2012-05-10T07:00:10","date_gmt":"2012-05-10T07:00:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/provolearning.com\/blog\/?p=8685"},"modified":"2013-04-20T19:44:45","modified_gmt":"2013-04-20T19:44:45","slug":"congratulations-year-3-dolphins-green-recycle-certificate-winners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/provolearning.com\/blog\/school-news\/congratulations-year-3-dolphins-green-recycle-certificate-winners\/","title":{"rendered":"Congratulations Year 3 Dolphins &#8211; Green Recycle Certificate Winners"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/41872456\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"600\" height=\"381\"><\/iframe>The recycle tallies were recorded and counted on the final day of the month.\u00a0 The first class to win the Green Recycle Certificate \u2013 which entitles them to one extra special \u2018Golden Time\u2019 &#8211; were the Year 3 Dolphins.\u00a0 They collected an astounding 251 tallies \u2013 that\u2019s 251 pieces of recycle items that, as the Dolphins say <strong><em>\u201c will help to<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>make our world a better place!\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>To compliment their success Year 3 created a rap to remind us of how important it is to recycle.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><\/em><\/strong>After much discussion, Year 3 have decided to put their extra \u2018Golden Time\u2019 towards a trip to our local Sandwich Shop where they will be able to create their <em>own<\/em> \u2018healthy and delicious\u2019 wrap (or rap!) or salad to eat for lunch. This relates really well to their \u2018Healthy Eating\u2019 topic in Science and their Design and Technology project of designing and making their own \u2018healthy treat\u2019.
