They particularly loved the story of the Gingerbread Man.<\/p>\n<p>Click on to see more photos of them decorating and eating their own gingerbread men cookies&#8230;<br clear=\"left\" \/><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.provoprimaryblog.com\/wp-admin\/upload.php?style=inline&amp;tab=browse&amp;post_id=764&amp;_wpnonce=a0159d79cd&amp;ID=767&amp;action=view&amp;paged\" id=\"file-link-767\" title=\"gingerbread_62_resizea.jpg\" class=\"file-link image\">  \t\t\t<\/a>After hearing the story of the gingerbread man, they used playdough cutters to make their own little gingerbread man and Letterland friends to match up the letters of the word &#8216;gingerbread man.&#8217;  They also decorated gingerbread cookies,  homebaked by Krys Mann,  with frosting and edible decorations. They reinforced their knowledge of shapes and numbers, as they looked for three buttons to decorate them.   The  highlight of the activities  was singing the part <em>&#8220;Run, run as fast as you can, you can&#8217;t catch me, I&#8217;m the Gingerbread Man,&#8221; <\/em>and of course getting to eat the cookies was a delight, too!<\/p>\n<p>Click here to see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.provoprimaryblog.com\/slideshows\/PS\/130207p\" title=\"Gingerbread Cookies\" target=\"_blank\">our gingerbread man slideshow<\/a>.
