Its long-term goal is to encourage children to lead a healthy lifestyle.\u00a0 Fruity Friday campaign is a great way to get across this message in a fun way. \u00a0 All the donations from our Fruity Friday Dress Down will be given to the local Turks and Caicos Cancer Society.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Fruity Friday was the final day of our latest &#8216;Be Active Week&#8217;, wherein the school focuses its effort to raise awareness of keeping fit and healthy.\u00a0 Many children took part in our &#8216;Walk and Stride&#8217;, walk to school challenge.\u00a0 There were also surveys on healthy snacks and children made posters at home about keeping fit. Unfortunately, our planned &#8216;Beat the Banana&#8217; run was cancelled due to heavy rain.
