Here are three of their soul-touching poems &#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>I LOVE YOU SO DEAR<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>My beautiful flower,<br \/>\nWhite like new fallen snow, scent sweet like a lollipop,<br \/>\nYellow center like the sunset at the end of the day,<br \/>\nEach petal curling like a great teacher&#8217;s hair<br \/>\nLaying lightly on her beautiful face.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Three boastful buds, dark purple with yellow dots<br \/>\nLike stars in a never ending night, waiting to be let loose<br \/>\nAnd see the world around them.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Oh Flower tell me how you feel,<br \/>\nAre you sad or happy, would you wish to be anything but?<br \/>\nI wish to be you, do you wish to be me?<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>For you are so small and I am so big,<br \/>\nYour buds are patient, waiting, just waiting to be let free,<br \/>\nI know you&#8217;ll be as sweet and soft as the one in front of you.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>ROUGE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>This flower as red as a cherry<br \/>\nPetals like ruffles on a ball gown<br \/>\nWith vibrant yellow, in between,<br \/>\nYou could pick this flower to say I Love You.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>If this flower could talk, what would it say?<br \/>\nWould it be modest? Would it be kind?<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>If this flower could dance,<br \/>\nWould it dance like a ballerina?<br \/>\nA modern dancer?<br \/>\nA jazz dancer?<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>If this flower could wish, what would it wish for?<br \/>\nA beautiful world?<br \/>\nLove, like the love of Romeo and Juliet?<br \/>\nFaith, like the faith of a teacher has in her student?<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>And what about me?<br \/>\nWhat would this magnificent flower think of me?<br \/>\nMe,<br \/>\nMe,<br \/>\nMe&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>CRIMSON GARLAND<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>A dash of crimson, in a bright flowing gown,<br \/>\nThe petals wither on the wind, as detailed as a finger print,<br \/>\nThe tree swelters in a molten volcano.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>O flower, O flower, what are you feeling?<br \/>\nO flower, O flower, what do you wish?<br \/>\nFor you are a touch of radiance in the gloom of the murky forest<br \/>\nYou have enough power to bring out the joy in a still tree<br \/>\nYou are a phenomenon of dominance.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>O flower, O flower, do you feel envy?<br \/>\nO flower, O flower, Never fear because you are phenomenal,<br \/>\nPhenomenal, phenomenal.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our Grade 5\/6\/7s were inspired by the beauty of flowers and how they touch our lives with their vibrant colours and tender petals.
