Both classes started off by listening to the story of the Three Little Pigs&#8230;<\/p>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"lp4.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.provoprimaryblog.com\/wp-content\/blogpix\/lp4.jpg\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Pre-schoolers<\/strong> were excited after listening to the story and began working on a group project to make a large brick house.<\/p>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"lp3.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.provoprimaryblog.com\/wp-content\/blogpix\/lp3.jpg\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/div>\n<p>They used roller brushes to paint the square base. They tore paper and pasted it onto the large, triangular roof. Tearing the paper was a difficult task!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"left\" alt=\"lp2.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.provoprimaryblog.com\/wp-content\/blogpix\/lp2.jpg\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"lp1.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.provoprimaryblog.com\/wp-content\/blogpix\/lp1.jpg\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/div>\n<p>Each child then made their own little house, again working with triangles and squares.   And here they are&#8230;<\/p>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"lp5.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.provoprimaryblog.com\/wp-content\/blogpix\/lp5.jpg\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/div>\n<p>All in all, this project assisted in developing the childrens&#8217; social and cognitive skills, through taking turns, helping each other and listening to their peers.<strong>The Junior Kindergarten<\/strong> made their own houses during small group activities.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"lp6.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.provoprimaryblog.com\/wp-content\/blogpix\/lp6.jpg\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"lp8.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/www.provoprimaryblog.com\/wp-content\/blogpix\/lp8.jpg\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"lp7.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.provoprimaryblog.com\/wp-content\/blogpix\/lp7.jpg\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Each child was able to choose which house they liked best or which they thought they would like to live in.
