\"after-school-clubs-image\"<\/a>At the heart of our ambition for Provo Primary School is our commitment to providing the very best for all children to enjoy and achieve. This includes having the widest possible range of opportunities both within and beyond the curriculum.\u00a0 After-school clubs are a fantastic way of achieving this and we are excited to offer a wide range of clubs, run by teachers, community members and affliated programmes \u2013 all with a view to increasing the range of experiences that children have. Activities are designed to be fun and cater for a wide variety of interests and ages.\u00a0 They are open to both Provo Primary students and community children alike.<\/p>\n

The information below outlines all of the school clubs we have available this term<\/a>, from Journalism, Science and French, to Soccer and Basketball, Art and Design, along with our affliated Provo Performing Arts School’s <\/a>Dance and Theatre Arts sessions.\u00a0 We hope you will take time to explore what is on offer and encourage your child to try something new or continue taking part in a firm favourite.<\/p>\n

In this peaceful and relaxing club, your child will explore different aspects of MindUP including learning different ways to calm down when they are feeling stressed, angry, nervous or sad.\u00a0 We will explore mindful colouring as a relaxation tool and positive alternative ways to express emotions, such as creating a \u2018feelings journal\u2019, role play activities and through reading storybooks.<\/td>\n

Come along and create an eye-catching design for the outside of a garbage bin to be entered in an island wide competition.\u00a0 Bring along your design ideas and we will work together to create a masterpiece.\u00a0 Our bin will then be placed in a suitable location chosen to help encourage both residents and tourists to keep our beautiful islands \u201cClean by Choice\u201d.<\/td>\n

While this club is a great opportunity to practice together ahead of the tournament, it also offers new players the chance to come along and develop skills and confidence with friends.
