\"12-hr-performathon\"The Perform-a-thon has been be rescheduled for Saturday October 10th<\/sup> between 10am and 10pm at Provo Primary School\u2019s Stage<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

Performing Arts teacher Niki Flowers has teamed up with The Turks & Caicos Friends of the Arts Foundation (TCFAF) and an old friend of hers; to bring London\u2019s West End Theatre to Provo in February 2016.This project will be financially supported by TCFAF, but a fundraiser is required to assist with the cost. Niki wanted to include children in the fundraising efforts, so has asked all of her students to get involved and sponsored in a 12-hour Perform-a-thon. Niki teaches a collection of classes here at Provo Primary School, under the heading of Provo Performing Arts School.<\/p>\n

Niki is appealing to the public, as well as local corporate organisations for their support \u2013\u00a0 if you have any air miles that you could donate, or a pledge of backing please contact her at nikiflowers@gmail.com<\/a>
\nThe children will also benefit greatly from support on the day \u2013 come along and cheer them on!<\/p>\n

Niki & her friend Dougie Mills trained together as adolescents & performed semi-professionally together a number of times before heading off to different Theatre Schools at the age of 18. Dougie went on to be recognized as THE<\/u><\/em> choreographer to call in Europe if you want a tap number.Dougie is bringing 3 colleagues with him that are seasoned West End performers and choreographers \/ producers. They will offer free workshops for the children in a diverse selection of styles\u2026..Chicago The Musical, Bollywood, Michael Jackson, Joseph, Mama Mia & Tap Dogs style of tap dancing. Children that participate in the workshops will be invited to join the professionals on stage at Brayton Hall for a performance on Friday February 26th.<\/p>\n
