Cheshire Halls is a 200 year-old ruin of a former cotton plantation. The National Trust has carefully preserved the site so that it stays as one of Providenciales\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 key historic attractions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The children had a fun and informative tour (and a free Birds of TCI calendar). They especially enjoyed smelling and tasting some of the fresh herbs which still grow on the estate.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">We walked around Cheshire Halls and looked at all the interesting remains.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.provoprimaryblog.com\/wp-content\/blogpix\/cheshire-halls-21.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1399\" title=\"cheshire-halls-21\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.provoprimaryblog.com\/wp-content\/blogpix\/cheshire-halls-21.jpg?resize=300%2C225\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">We visited a well&#8230;it was very, very deep.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.provoprimaryblog.com\/wp-content\/blogpix\/cheshire-halls-4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1400\" title=\"cheshire-halls-4\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.provoprimaryblog.com\/wp-content\/blogpix\/cheshire-halls-4.jpg?resize=300%2C225\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In the Slave Cabin was a small bed.
