We started by making our own passports. We used the digital camera to take photographs of ourselves and stuck them in our passports. We also filled in all our personal details. Our passports are not all the same, as there are lots of different nationalities in our class!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/www.provoprimaryblog.com\/wp-content\/blogpix\/k-passports.jpg\" alt=\"k-passports.jpg\" border=\"1\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click here to find out about the different countries we have explored.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In our &#8216;Africa&#8217; week we read &#8216;Handa&#8217;s Surprise&#8217;. We wrote about our favourite animals from the book and the different fruits they love to eat! We also made lions using paper plates and our hand prints!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.provoprimaryblog.com\/wp-content\/blogpix\/k-handassurprise.jpg\" alt=\"k-handassurprise.jpg\" border=\"1\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Last week we learnt about Australia. February 7th is the first day of the Chinese new year. 2008 is the year of the  rat. Today we painted our names using Chinese symbols.
