\"yr1-cuisenaire-oct-2013-2\"<\/a>During the last few weeks in Year 1, we have been having fun exploring numbers. We have been using Cuisenaire rods to help us understand and explore numbers. We have been looking at pairs of numbers that total up to ten and relating addition to counting on. \u00a0It has been great to see the children really starting to use the rods to make beginning addition number sentences.\u00a0 We also enjoyed making number sentences using Cuisenaire rods on the IWB.<\/p>\n
