\"WritingDo you want to know how each of your bones bones protect you, help you move and support your body? Well, you’re in luck! We have created the perfect\u00a0text for you!<\/p>\n

Our Year 4\u00a0bone experts\u00a0have been busy learning how to write explanation texts this term. We discovered lots of great facts during our Moving and Growing topic and we wanted to help you understand the special jobs each bone does.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n


\nWe worked together to develop our understanding of subordinating clauses, allowing us to form really long sentences that could hold a lot of information. We learned that we could use phrases like because, in order to, allowing, enabling <\/em>and creating<\/em> to join a statement with a reason. After completing our writing, we took our work to the ICT suite to produce a double-page explanation text.<\/p>\n

We carefully\u00a0edited and redrafted our work\u00a0to correct errors in spelling and punctuation. We also learned how to make decisions about the layout of our work to make it easier and more enjoyable for our readers.<\/p>\n

After a lot of effort, teamwork and patience we were very proud of our work!<\/p>\n
