Following on from the highly successful Kindergarten Sports’ Day, Grades 1 to 6 had their annual Sports’ Day at 4.00pm this afternoon. The children arrived at the Football Field wearing their team colours and competed against each other demonstrating a wide range of skills and a lot of stamina!<\/p>\n

The 2 hours of fun and games included: Runs – sprints, fun relays and running whilst balancing objects; Fun Skills – Skipping (which has been a major focus this term and virtually every child can now skip) and target-type games using beanbags etc; Push and Pull – Tug of War and some kind of throwing event. Many of these events reflected\u00c2\u00a0just how\u00c2\u00a0imaginative and creative our teachers can be! The afternoon’s events culminated in a boys and girls relay with runners from every\u00c2\u00a0grade – and they were all<\/strong><\/em> superb!<\/p>\n
