Alison has 40 years teaching experience in England, Greece and The Turks and Caicos Islands.<\/p>\n
This is Alison’s 30th year at Provo Primary and Middle School.<\/p>\n
Primary and Middle School Senior Leadership Team \/ KS3 History<\/p>\n Toby holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Hons.) in History from the University of Newcastle,\u00a0UK. He also has a Masters of Letters (M.Litt.) in Modern American History from the University of Newcastle, which included a research placement at Emory University, Atlanta, GA.\u00a0 Toby then studied Primary Education and has a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (P.G.C.E.) from the University of East Anglia, UK.<\/p>\n Toby has 16 years teaching experience, with 6 years teaching experience in the UK, including 1 year as a Primary School Headteacher.<\/p>\n This is Toby’s 10th year (collectively) teaching at Provo Primary and Middle School.<\/p>\n Primary and Middle School Senior Leadership Team \/\u00a0 Support Teacher<\/p>\n Sian holds a First Class Honours Degree in Primary Education (BEd. Hons.) from Reading University, England. Her major subjects were in Science and Primary Education.<\/p>\n Sian has 30 years teaching experience in England and The Turks and Caicos Islands.<\/p>\n This is Sian’s 24th year at Provo Primary and Middle School.<\/p>\n Office Administrator \/ Support Teacher<\/p>\n Stefanie holds\u00a0 a Post-graduate Certificate of Education (P.G.C.E) from University College of Wales, Newport. He holds a Certificate of Higher Education from Harvard.\u00a0 He is also an Associate Examiner for Cambridge International Examinations.<\/p>\n Jason has 13 years teaching experience, with 5 years in Northern Ireland where he taught Year 6, preparing children for SATS and other secondary school entrance exams.<\/p>\n This is Jason’s 9th year teaching at Provo Primary and Middle School.<\/p>\n KS3 Maths \/ PE (KS1\/2\/3)<\/p>\n Year 6 Teacher \/ PE Coordinator<\/p>\n John holds a first-class honours degree in the Social Sciences and a Primary PGCE with QTS from Sheffield Hallam University.<\/p>\n John has worked as a teacher in an inner city school in Sheffield, England for 18 years, mainly in Years 5 and 6, but in his time has taught all age groups within the primary setting. He has also led Maths, Science, Music and P.E. and had responsibility for formulating behaviour policies.<\/p>\n For 2 years, John also taught Psychology and Sociology in an F.E. College in Sheffield and for 5 years worked as a residential Social Worker in a school and home for Children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.<\/p>\n This is John’s 3rd year teaching at Provo Primary and Middle School.<\/p>\n Year 5 Teacher \/ Primary School Vice Principal \/ Senior Leadership Team<\/p>\n Laura holds a First Class Honours Degree in Primary Education (B Ed Hons) from Sheffield Hallam University, England \u2013 majoring in Drama and Early Years.<\/p>\n She has 32 years teaching experience in England including 3 years as a Primary School Assistant Headteacher and 13 years experience leading English.\u00a0 She has taught classes from Kindergarten through to Year 4, predominately in Years 1 and 2.<\/p>\n This is Laura’s 3rd year teaching at Provo Primary and Middle School.<\/p>\n Years 4 Teacher<\/p>\n Mrs. Indira holds a Bachelor of Education degree (B.Ed Hons), which she gained at the University of North London, specialising in Health and Recreation.<\/p>\n She has 23 years teaching experience, working in schools in London.\u00a0 During her career she has had the opportunity to co-ordinate the teaching of RE and Literacy and also held responsibility for the school library.<\/p>\n Her most recent teaching post was at Channing School for girls, a private school, where she taught for 13 years.<\/p>\n This is Indira’s 5th year at Provo Primary and Middle School.<\/p>\n Year 4 Support Teacher \/ Middle School Art<\/p>\n Rochelle holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Hons) degree in Primary Education with an emphasis in Literacy Education, which she gained from The Northern Caribbean University in Jamaica. She also holds a Diploma in Visual and Performing Arts. Rochelle has been a teacher since 2008 and throughout that time has catered to students at the early childhood, primary and high school levels.<\/p>\n Rochelle is very passionate about personal and professional development and has attended several leadership and team-building seminars.<\/p>\n This is Rochelle’s 4th\u00a0 year teaching at Provo Primary and Middle School.<\/p>\n Year 3 Teacher \/ Primary School School Council Leader<\/p>\n Mani holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Hons.) degree from the University of East London in Visual Art Theory and Education. She also holds a \u00a0Post Graduate Certificate of Education (P.G.C.E.) in Primary Education, from the Metropolitan University in Manchester, U.K. This is Mani\u2019s 14th year teaching at Provo Primary and Middle School.<\/p>\n Year 2 Teacher<\/p>\n Helen holds a BA (Hons) in German with Spanish from Newcastle University, and a PGCE from the University of Sheffield.<\/p>\n She has over 10 years experience, mainly in teaching Spanish, German and French at Primary and Secondary level. Helen has also worked as a class teacher in Year 5 and Early Years, and in pastoral roles in Key Stage 3.<\/p>\n This is Helen\u2019s 9th year (collectively) teaching at Provo Primary and Middle School as a Spanish, Toddler and supply teacher across both schools.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Year 1 Teacher<\/p>\n Claire holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Deaf Studies from the University of Bristol, UK. She also holds a Primary Post Graduate Certificate of Education from the University of Hertfordshire, UK. Whilst studying for her P.G.C.E., Claire spent a year working part-time as a communication support worker for primary aged Deaf children with special needs.<\/p>\n Senior Kindergarten Teacher<\/p>\n Amanda holds a B.A. in Physical Education and Biology from Chester College of Higher Education and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (P.G.C.E.) in Primary Education with Early Years Specialism (3-8 yr olds).<\/p>\n Amanda has 32 years teaching experience in Primary Education both in the U.K. and in International Schools in Sechelles, Malaysia, Singapore and T.C.I.<\/p>\n This is Amanda’s 9th year (collectively) teaching at Provo Primary and Middle School.<\/p>\n Early Years Unit Lead \/ Senior Leadership Team<\/p>\n Myrna holds an Early Childhood Certificate from The Bermuda College, Bermuda and an Associate Degree in Education from The Turks and Caicos Community College.<\/p>\n Myrna has 33 years teaching experience in The Turks and Caicos Islands and Bermuda, including 5 years working with students with mental and physical challenges.<\/p>\n This is Myrna’s 23rd year teaching (collectively) at Provo Primary and Middle School.<\/p>\n Early Years Unit Teacher<\/p>\n Laranda holds a Certificate in Early Childhood Education, from The Turks and Caicos Islands Community College (Through the University of The West Indies, Jamaica). She is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Early Childhood Education at The Turks and Caicos Community College.<\/p>\n Laranda has 20 years of teaching experience. She has taught from infant to Year 4.
