The Toddlers have been learning all about stories this term.
We have been exploring the story ‘Polar Bear, Polar Bear, what do you hear?’ We have been learning about some of the animals featured in the story such as snakes, elephants and lions. Read on to see how the Toddlers explored the story using fruit.
We used food to make lion faces. We used pineapple slices for his face, raisins for his eyes, a grape for his nose, and some grated carrot for his shaggy mane. The lion faces looked great and they tasted great too!
We have played games which helped us to understand how stories change over time. We have also made a graph to show which are our favourite stories and we even had a go at making books of our own.
