My Spectacular Shell

My spectacular shell reminds me of a spiral staircase going on forever,

It’s like sweet caramel ice cream on the crunchiest cone,

It’s as soft as a silk web made by a spider,

The top of my shell is a tall pyramid,

My shell is as white as new snow with a little caramel sauce on top of it,

I’d like to go inside my shell right to the bottom of it

And I would enjoy every second in there,

My shell is the light of my life!

My Spectacular Shell

My spectacular shell is like a tasty raspberry smoothie,

It’s like waves crashing hard on the beach,

It’s like the beautiful colours in the sky as the sun is setting,

Inside my shell it looks like the amazing caves of Middle Caicos,

My shell is the most spectacular of all shells.

My Incredible Shell

An amazing whirlpool swishing round and round,

A wave in a picture that came to life,

A huge dartboard with holes everywhere, even the bulls eye,

My shell is as creamy as milk ready to make cupcakes,

A fantastic cave waiting to be explored,

Incredible shell, what is your secret?

My Sweet Little Orange

My sweet little orange,

You remind of a juicy drop of lemonade,

You’re as liquid as lava and cold as ice,

You look like a sun setting in a cold breeze,

And a rainbow fading away in the sky,

You’re like dolphins playing in the sea,

Your little holes whistling like a harmonica,

Oh, sweet little orange,

Please come to life and be my friend forever!

K.K.

My Orange

Oh my orange!

A massive flood of white,

A moving gush of orange,

The smallest seed to the thickest vivid fibers,

Your peel reminds me of the gorgeous scales on a fish,

As juicy as a perfectly ripe plum,

Lines as thin as a strand of hair,

Pulp as pale as the nighttime stars,

I see the widest smile in the world and tallest rockiest mountains,

My orange you are spectacular!

My Lovely Flower

A glistening, bright yellow sun,

As yellow as the most beautiful rose,

The brown on you as delightful as a yummy piece of dark chocolate,

Petals as soft as my favourite teddy,

A stem as rough as sandpaper,

Leaves like emeralds,

Oh breathtaking flower, how did you get to be so beautiful?

E.B.

My Fabulous Flower

Like a soldier standing straight and strong,

Down your cup is an everlasting corridor,

At the bottom of your petals are veins,

Running through time,

As if all the softness in the world has gone into you,

Silky as a butterfly’s wings.
