Did you know that materials often change when they are heated? Well, Osprey class do now! Last week we took Science into the kitchen and got to see just what happens when you heat certain types of food materials. We also got to use our Maths skills by weighing out the ingredients before we mixed them!
We worked together in teams to measure out the ingredients, mix them, pour them into the cupcake cases, then Miss Claire carefully put them in the oven for us, and guess what? The heat from the oven ‘cooked’ our ingredients and turned them into delicious cupcakes! Oh and did we mention we got to melt chocolate to put over the top?
Who knew Science could be so much fun and yummy?!
