Thank you, for a special year.

I actually can’t believe we have come to the end of the year. The children and I talk often about how quickly the months have passed… And now I must sadly but proudly wish them on their way to YEAR 5! They have been the most wonderful class and I couldn’t have asked for a better bunch to help me learn the wonderful ways of Provo Primary.

It has been a super term (although any tips on how to deal with this heat would be very welcome!).

As promised in our last newsletter, our MAGICAL MYTHS are now published and make exciting reading, involving everything from mermaids and dragons to elves to ghosts and even the Devil’s daughter!

A highlight for me was when we transformed the class in to a Hindu Temple and learned all about the fascinating rituals involved in Hindu prayer and worship. The children then made some beautiful and informative booklets about all they had learned.

In Science the class have made parachutes and boats to gain more understanding about Forces and had much fun testing them out – maybe they can make more at home to show you what they have learnt!

What a wonderful last few day, with the class performing short presentations about themselves and our short performance as part of the Year 6 Graduation / End of Year Celebration ceremony.

Thank you again to all the Year 4 parents. You have been so incredibly supportive this year and it has been a privilege to teach your children. Some of you have already left and begun your Summer break, and I hope to have a chance to say this in person, but if not I wish you all wonderful holidays and can’t wait to catch up with and hear about all the children’s adventures in September.

Thank you, for a special year.
