The children were wonderful, costumes absolutely gorgeous and dances performed beautifully.
Our Grade 6 students need to be commended on their performances as the main characters in the play and also on their dance routines. Their acting was so good that they even managed to bring on the rain as they entered the rain forest and began their singing in the rain dance! (There’s nothing quite like real life special effects!)
Our Grade 4/5 students need to be congratulated also on their dance routines and for the memorization of their profound messages about preserving the rainforest, which they delivered perfectly.
Our Grade 3 monkeys and snakes were highly entertaining.
Our Grade 2 toucans and birds were a spectacular array of colour that won’t be forgotten.
Our Grade 1 frogs leapt into the limelight only to be eaten by Amos the Alligator!
The night would not have been complete without the grade one butterflies who brought tears to the eyes of many with their perfectly performed Maria Carey number.
Other highlights of the evening included the monkeys coming down a zip line and the volcano lighting up as lava poured down its sides.
Well done EVERYONE and thanks to ALL THOSE who helped out in one way or another to make the show the success that it was. A big thanks to Krys Mann for the wonderful photos above.
Looks like you all had a lot of work!!! Sarah is now wishing she could blink herself back there for school. She really misses the school so much and so do I. I’m so thankful that I was part of PP for a short time. It’s so nice to see such an up to date website and such excellent pictures!! Keep up the good work.
Bravo everyone! What a wonderful way to deliver such a serious message. Thank you for posting the pictures. Your costumes & stage props look fabulous. With all that hard work, your show just had to be a huge success! We only wish we could have seen it in person…
