Monday 14^th – Friday 18^th – Keeping Healthy Week – The Enjoyment of Sports

With the majority of the school participating in various sporting events this week, our focus for this term’s Keeping Healthy Week is ‘The Enjoyment of Sports’.  We encourage families to talk about sports and how these play an integral part of life at home and at school.  What types of sports interest people in your family?  What sporting activities do you participate in together as a family?  What sporting events do you like to watch?

Monday 14^th – C

ommonwealth Day (Public Holiday)

This would be a great opportunity for families to enjoy some sporting activities together.

Wednesday 16^th – Toddler / Preschool / JK / K / Yr 1 / Yr 2 Sports Day

Come out and support our younger children participating in their annual Sports Day.

On the School Field

• JK: 8:30 – 9:00am
• Preschool: 9:00 – 9:30am
• Toddlers: 9:30 – 10:00am

At the Graceway Sports Center

• K: 10:15 – 11:00am
• Years 1 and 2: 11:15 – 12:00noon.

Thursday 17^th

Year 3 and 4 Field Hockey Showcase

• Parents are welcome to come along to our second Field Hockey Showcase at Graceway Sports Center – 8:45 – 9:30am.

Friday 18^th  

Last day of Term 2 – school closes @ 12 /12:30 pm

• Dress Down Day (Free Choice).
• EYFS Spring Bonnet Parade – 8:30am – all parents welcome to stay and watch.
• PTA Egg Hunt (volunteers needed). We will begin with the toddler class straight after the bonnet parade.
• All Early Years children who don’t usually come on Fridays are welcome to join us for these special events

Holiday Activities:

Provo Primary Easter Camp (Ages 18 months to 7 years) at Provo Primary School.

BWI Collegiate Sports Camp (Ages 8-13) at the BWI Collegiate with Mr Fielding.

Provo Performing Arts School Easter Camp (Ages 8-16) at Provo Primary School with Niki Flowers.
