Global Cardboard Challenge Day is a week away… and Provo Primary & Middle School families are invited to celebrate this year’s National Youth Week theme “Ignite the youth – Ignite the future” by supporting their children’s creativity at our family-friendly, Cardboard Challenge Day.
So start thinking of possibilities as a family and meet us on
Sunday 29th, 3 – 6pm
Also a great day to encourage your child’s growth mindset!
A child-run refreshment stand will be available – please feel welcome to BYO drinks and snacks.
All children need to be accompanied by at least one family adult or supervising adult.

Initially inspired by the short film, ‘Caine’s Arcade’, the Global Cardboard Challenge is a worldwide celebration of child creativity and the role communities can play in fostering it.
Participating in the Global Cardboard Challenge is a great way to recycle the massive pile of cardboard packaging that our yearly resources came on island in and we’re sure it will get families involved and excited about playing and learning together.
We are also excited about our participation in the Global Cardboard Challenge because it:
• engages children in creative play
• fosters creativity, ingenuity, resourcefulness, perseverance and teamwork
• gives children an opportunity to explore their interests and passions, and make things that have an impact on others
• provides a platform for communities to actively foster and celebrate child creativity
• increases global happiness and makes for a happier, more playful world.
• is FUN!
Through the Cardboard Challenge, children will learn maths, engineering and other STEM related concepts, writing, design thinking, creative problem solving, sustainability, social entrepreneurship and more.
