The thunder subsided and the rain held off for a very well-attended Beach Day this past Saturday afternoon. The beach in front of Ricky’s Flamingo Cafe was the perfect spot for parents to escape the sticky weather and socialize while the kids played soccer, boogie boarded, jumped from the pier and swam like fish with new and old friends. Families reluctantly began to pack up only as the sun went down and early bedtimes beckoned their extremely sandy and tired children!
