Seasons Greetings! What a fantastic first term in Preschool! Please have a look at our child lead display boards and see how busy the kids have been.
It’s Winter Season, a time when even though the temperature is in the 80s here in Provo, the idea of snow is on our minds…. so we made a big snowman family with many babies.
We all adore the book ‘Pete the Cat – I Love My White Shoes’ so much that we made a giant display which the children painted and then glued on to it, their very own ‘Pete’.
We have explored shapes and colours creating beautiful collages.
The children have enjoyed learning about insects and have been learning their phonic sounds – have a look at our amazing foot print ladybugs we made for the sound ‘l’.
Earlier in the term we made a world of colour and texture which the children delight in touching and using to name colours, the surrounding photographs are also a frequent talking point.
