The Pre-schoolers came ‘springing’ back to class very excitedly after their Easter Holiday. Well, it’s Spring and they were pleased when they saw all the pretty colours of paint ready for handprints.
As if by magic, their handprints become a beautiful flower garden! Isn’t it amazing to see what these little hands can do? We have done several activities over the few weeks linked to out topic of ‘Growing Things’.
1. We made our very own flower arrangement. Every child coloured, cut out and assembled their own flower in a pot for our display.
2. We decorated a pot.
3. We planted some seeds:
4. We added water to the soil and put it into our pot.
5. We watered them every day.
6. The seeds started to grow.
