Science

‘Science stimulates and excites curiosity about phenomena and events in the world around us and satisfies this curiosity with knowledge. Because science links direct practical experience with ideas, it can engage learners at many levels.’
(The British National Curriculum)

Science plays a very prominent role in our curriculum. Our philosophy is committed to experiential learning, and hands-on, purposeful activities are provided as often as possible. In Science, we encourage children to observe, explore and ask questions about living things, materials and phenomena that lead them to suggest and carry out practical investigations.
