During their first dance lesson with Miss Shara, the Kindergarten class had fun learning the Merengue. First they practised the steps and then they partnered up and amazed us all by keeping in time with the music, and even putting in a few turns!
Once they mastered the beat, which they did amazingly quickly, the children were paired up and they put what they had practised with the music. They had lots of fun and were very proud of themselves. They even learned how to exit the stage like professional dance couples!
What beautiful dancing everyone. It looks like you’re all having lots of fun! We would love to to do the Merengue, J. Will you teach us this summer? And, what a surprise to see that you’ve lost a front tooth! Hope the tooth fairy was generous…
JH Wow what a great place to be dancing. Hope you are learning a lot of new dances that you can come home and teach me. Keep it up. You sure have gotten tall and what a surprise to think the tooth fairy might have visited you
