JK Ladies and Gentlemen’s Dinner

jk-restaurant-2009

The Junior Kindergarten finished off their healthy eating  topic today by enjoying a wonderful fine dining experience.  The classroom was transformed into a beautiful restaurant with tables decorated with candles, flowers and each child’s own personal place setting.  Soft music added to the ambience as the boys entered dressed in their best shirts with their homemade ties and the girls  in their prettiest dresses and  their homemade tiaras. On the exquisite four course menu was a cocktail of fruit punch, a green salad starter, a main course of grilled chicken breast with mashed potato and carrots and a delicious banana split dessert.  It truly was a magnificent feast!  The children throughly enjoyed the whole experience and took the opportunity to demonstrate their excellent table manners as they dined in style. Well done Mrs. Myrna, Mrs. Jenny and Mrs. Melissa for all your hard work, love and care and thank you to all the parents who helped, too. See a slideshow of photos.

What a magical experience for the JK children. Mrs Myrna and Mrs Jenny worked really hard to make this happen and it was truly spectacular! The children’s faces as they entered the ‘restaurant’ was priceless.
