Are you ready to rumble?

If so, hurry on down to Graceway Sports Centre and enroll your child in the inline skating hockey programme, run by the infamous Provo Hockey League (PHL).

Final registration is today Saturday 21st October from 12-2 pm and practices begin from 2-5.30 pm on the same day.

There will be a hockey camp commencing Wednesday 1st to Sunday 5th November, following which will be the annual team selection and dinner gala. Games will begin on Saturday 11th November.

There are three leagues: The minis (5-8 yr olds) the bantams (8-12 yr olds) and the midgets (13-17yr olds).

This is a fantastic programme and you really need to see it to believe it. Dressed in full kit, the children take this sport very seriously. In addition to the athletic benefits, it teaches great discipline and wonderful team spirit. It inspires children to be proud of their efforts and be the best that they can, whilst having a lot of fun doing so.

Even if your children aren’t playing this year, bring them down to watch a few of the games. They really are amazing to watch. The parents are also fun to watch as they sometimes get too excited to remain in their seats. Some have even been known to dress up, sing, dance and do other crazy things, so who knows what’s in store for us this year!

Don’t miss out on this incredible other part of Provo life! Join the PHL today and enjoy the action!
