School Council Elections
We have decided to start a School Council in order to enable the children to have more of a say in the decision making process and further influence the way that the school develops.
Each class had to choose two children to represent them on the Council and take their views to the meetings.

Live Jazz and Indian Curry Night
Our last jazz and curry night was a great success. Tickets sold out fast last time, so be sure to make your reservation as soon as possible. We look forward to see you all.
A little bit of everything!
The Grade 1 children have been really busy over the last few weeks! Here is a compilation of some of our super work.
A Matter of Fact!
The Kindergarteners are currently exploring the topics of ‘Under the Sea’ and ‘Growth’.
Last week we looked at information books to find out some facts about crabs. We found out that crabs have hard shells and strong claws, they like to hide under rocks and they grow a new shell if their shell falls off. We each tried to remember some of the facts about crabs and wrote them down.
Please come into our classroom to see our display and read some of the facts we have written!
Read on to see some more of our work about ‘Under the Sea’ and ‘Growth’.
An exciting start to the final term!
Our final term this year is proving to be just as exciting, if not more so, than the first two. Already we have had two fantastic Sports Days, trips out of school, visitors into school and the swimming season has started!
With lots more to come, click on the newsletter below to find out more details about what the teachers have planned for the children.

See How We Grow
The Toddlers have been learning all about the spring and discovering what plants, animals and insects need to blossom and grow. We read a story about children who made house from sunflowers and played in it until the flowers tumbled down and the children collected seeds to plant again the following spring. They then had a go at planting their own sunflowers and learnt that they need water and light in order to grow.
Spring is Here!
The Pre-schoolers came ‘springing’ back to class very excitedly after their Easter Holiday. Well, it’s Spring and they were pleased when they saw all the pretty colours of paint ready for handprints.
As if by magic, their handprints become a beautiful flower garden! Isn’t it amazing to see what these little hands can do? We have done several activities over the few weeks linked to out topic of ‘Growing Things’.
