The Pre-schoolers and Junior Kindergarten classes have had lots of fun while exploring the world of Traditional Tales. Both classes started off by listening to the story of the Three Little Pigs…
What a lovely start to the school year we have had in Grade 1! We hope you enjoy looking at the slideshows of us trying our best with our work and having fun at play.
Golden Time came to Provo Primary this week as a way of rewarding all those children who behave well, work hard and keep the rules in school. This is a weekly session of 30 minutes of non-curricular time when children take part in a planned activity or range of activities, which are fun and enjoyable. Golden Time is special and is a real highlight of the week.

The new school lunch was a great success today – chicken and rice – delicious! Thank you to our new chef, Sandie.
The October menu will be available next week so be sure to sign up your child/children for next month.

The Kindergarten Class has made a fantastic start to the first term. They have spent the first week getting to know each other, getting to know the Kindergarten routines and getting to know their teachers.
We have had fun painting, drawing, cutting and sticking in the classroom, experiencing our re-vamped outdoor play area as well as spending time in the new soft play classroom. We have sung, we have danced, we have played and we have laughed whilst we have been learning and here are the photographs to prove it….

Following on from the successes of last year’s and previous PTA events, we would like to revive our Parent Teachers Association and invite you to our first meeting of the year scheduled for Wednesday 4th October at 6PM in the school library.
An agenda is available at the school. If you would like to see anything added to the agenda, please let us know.

Pre-school to Kindergarten Newsletters are on their way soon.
We are please to say that although there we the few expected tears when Mums and Dads left, the toddlers and pre-school children have had an exciting first couple of days.
As well as getting to know their new teachers, the children have enjoyed visiting the different areas and have particularly enjoyed their time in our new soft playroom.
